How It Works

Viewers choose Pulse or Void and name a grid coordinate in one command, such as pulse B3. A legal move captures one neutral tile that touches their team's existing territory.

A viewer stays with the first team they choose for that round. A completed gift auto-joins an unassigned sender to the smaller team, then creates one bounded surge that claims up to the configured number of adjacent neutral tiles.

Lobby, countdown, capture and result phases advance automatically. A full map ends early; otherwise the most territory at timeout wins, ties draw, and rounds without both teams resolve cleanly before retrying.

How to Add Neon Takeover to TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS

  1. 1. Set it up on the hosted page. Open the free hosted page for Neon Takeover, adjust its settings and copy its browser source link.
  2. 2. Add the link to your streaming app. Paste the browser source link into OBS, Streamlabs or Meld Studio as a Browser source, or into TikTok LIVE Studio as a Link source.
  3. 3. Keep TikFinity connected and go LIVE. Keep TikFinity Desktop App open on Windows and connected to your LIVE so the game receives gifts, likes, chat, follows and Super Fan events.

Key Features

  • Original labelled neon grid keeps every legal capture readable at stream scale.
  • Illegal coordinates, occupied tiles, disconnected tiles and team switching are safe no-ops.
  • Gift surges are bounded by a creator setting, count completed streaks once and scale the visible burst by coin tier.
  • Grid size, round duration, team identity and colours are configurable.

Streamer Tips

  • Tell viewers the two command words and point out the letter-and-number tile labels before capture begins.
  • Start with the six-by-six grid and a three-tile surge, then tune after a test stream.
  • Use short custom team names while keeping Pulse and Void as the command words.

FAQ

Quick answers for creators who want to move fast.

What is Neon Takeover?

Neon Takeover is a free experimental TikTok LIVE territory game where chat commands and gifts capture a shared neon grid.

Is Neon Takeover free?

Yes. Neon Takeover is one of the free TT Interactive widgets. Set it up on its hosted page and copy the browser source link, with no account or checkout.

Do I need TikFinity?

Yes. These widgets are built around TikFinity event data, so you need TikFinity connected to your LIVE for the overlay to receive chat, gift, like, follow, and Super Fan events.

What counts as a legal capture?

The requested tile must exist, be neutral and touch the viewer's team territory on one of its four sides.

What does a gift do?

A completed gift triggers one bounded surge for the sender's team. An unassigned sender joins the smaller team first. In-progress streak packets and duplicate stable event IDs do not apply twice.
