Tide Hatch: Interactive TikTok LIVE Game

Viewers send gifts to lift a stranded climber to the lighthouse hatch, or knock them towards the rising water. You earn from both sides as helpers and wreckers fight over the climb.

Easy to add to your stream: copy one hosted link into TikTok LIVE Studio as a link source, or into OBS as a browser source. Streamlabs and Meld Studio can use the same link too.

Rising water: helpers versus wreckers, with gifts from both sides

How It Works

The climber moves up the lighthouse ladder automatically. Helpers win by reaching the hatch. Wreckers win if the rising water catches the climber, or time runs out.

Rose gives a rope lift and GG breaks a rung, both for 1 coin. Perfume pumps water out and S Flowers raises the water, both for 20 coins. Cap gives a winch lift and Paper Crane smashes the ladder, both for 99 coins. Choose your own gifts on the hosted page.

Every gift in a streak adds one action as it arrives. Bigger gifts move the climber or water further, up to a tenth of the climb per gift. Movement plays out smoothly. No comment is needed before a gift works.

The default hatch is 100 metres up, with a 150-second time limit and three climbs per match. A safety rope protects the first minute. An eight-second result leads into the next climb automatically. Queued gifts and unused movement carry over.

Comment climb for a small free lift, once every 10 seconds per viewer. The streamer can click or tap the hosted preview for an extra hop. Capture that preview to show manual hops on stream; the browser source plays its own automatic climb.

Key Features

  • An illustrated lighthouse, a raincoat puffin, moving water, rope lifts and flying wood splinters.
  • Equal teal and coral panels show helpers and wreckers, with a clear hatch target, water gap and round clock.
  • Live connects to TikFinity automatically. Practice lets you try every gift, and Demo adds sample gifts for you.
  • Choose gifts and Game settings are separate sections. Clear individual gifts or restore the defaults.
  • Set the climb time from 60 to 300 seconds, hatch height, climbing pace, water speed and climbs per match. Toggle sound and gift icons for the preview and browser source.

Streamer Tips

  • Open the hosted page to choose gifts, adjust Game settings and copy your overlay link. Set the source to 1080 × 1920 in OBS, Streamlabs, Meld Studio or TikTok LIVE Studio.
  • Choose Practice to jump to Try it before your LIVE. Turn sound on, then try a lift and a wreck. Demo plays sample gifts automatically.
  • Keep opposite gifts at the same coin value. Clear both gifts in a pair before choosing a new price. Your saved gifts are kept when opening an existing link.
  • Every gift counts straight away, including each new gift in a streak. Spare movement and queued actions stay for the next climb, so gifts sent during a result still count.
  • After changing settings, copy the new overlay link into your source. Gift icons shown on screen controls the preview and that link.

FAQ

Quick answers for creators who want to move fast.

What is Tide Hatch?

Viewers send gifts to lift a climber to the lighthouse hatch or knock them towards rising water. Choose a side in Tide Hatch for TikTok LIVE.

Is Tide Hatch free?

Yes. Tide Hatch is one of the free TT Interactive widgets. Set it up on its hosted page and copy the browser source link, with no account or checkout.

Do I need TikFinity?

Yes. These widgets are built around TikFinity event data, so you need TikFinity connected to your LIVE for the overlay to receive chat, gift, like, follow, and Super Fan events.

What is the aim of Tide Hatch?

Get the climber to the lighthouse hatch before the rising water catches them. Viewers can help with lifts and pumps, or wreck the climb by breaking the ladder and raising the water. Gifts work as soon as they arrive, without a comment first.

Does a gift streak wait until the end?

No. Each new gift adds an action immediately. A streak of 69 gifts gives 69 actions, with longer bursts queued so you can see them play out. A repeated final update does not add the same gifts again.

How long does a climb last?

The default time limit is 150 seconds. Choose between 60 and 300 seconds in Game settings. The first minute has a safety rope, then reaching the hatch or being caught by the water can end the climb. At the time limit, wreckers win if the hatch has not been reached. Results last eight seconds before the next climb starts automatically.

Do viewers need to time their gifts?

No. The climber moves automatically. Gifts add lifts, falls or water changes, and a free comment can add a small lift. Stream delay does not require viewers to aim or press at the right moment.

Where do I change the game settings?

Open the hosted Tide Hatch page. Choose gifts, climb settings, sound and gift icons there, then copy your updated overlay link. The browser source only shows the game. To include your own tap-to-hop input, capture the hosted preview instead.
