How It Works
HQ Trivia opens with a 30-second pre-show instead of jumping straight into question one. During that window, any chat message, like, share, follow, or gift marks a viewer as a standard entrant. If they gift 100+ coins or come in as a Super Fan during the pre-show, they start the match as VIP instead.
Once questions begin, everybody answers A, B, C, or D in chat, and the first valid answer from each player is the one that counts. Standard players are sudden-death by default, but they can earn one revive during the match by gifting 100+ coins or becoming a Super Fan. VIP players start with extra lives and can scale those lives higher with bigger gifts, so they can survive wrong answers longer than the standard field.
That survivor structure is strong on TikTok LIVE because it gives viewers a reason to stay across multiple questions. New people can understand the stakes from the survival board straight away, while regulars get a proper arc: join, survive, revive, or clutch the final question to become the last player standing.
