TikTok gifts inside GTA 5

Two public Windows setups. Both are third-party. TT Interactive’s own GTA product is still in production: there is no Live Chaos download, licence, or checkout on this page.

Start with TikFinity. Both routes below need it as the LIVE event bridge. Affiliate link: geni.us/tikfinity. I earn a commission if you subscribe. I am not claiming a TikFinity discount on this page.

Use the current plugin UI. These tutorials are from my YouTube videos. Menus move. If a screen in the recording disagrees with the GitHub release or Chaos Mod V config you just downloaded, follow the software in front of you.

Pick a route

Route A

TikFinity GTA webhook plugin

Community project: smeysu/GTA5-TikTok-Integration. Not a TT Interactive build.

1

Close GTA and download the plugin zip

Quit GTA 5 first. Open the GitHub releases page and download the current zip, not an old copy from a bookmark.

2

Copy the files into the GTA 5 root

Extract the zip, then copy every file and folder into the directory that contains GTA5.exe. A GTA update can overwrite those files, so you may need to copy them in again later.

3

Launch story or offline mode and check localhost

Start GTA 5 in story or offline mode. In a browser on the same PC, open http://127.0.0.1:6721/. You want the plugin’s working message before you touch TikFinity.

4

Create a TikFinity webhook action

Get TikFinity from geni.us/tikfinity if you still need an account. On Actions & Events, create an action, choose Trigger Webhook, and paste a command from the current README. A simple one is:

http://127.0.0.1:6721/kill

That matches “eliminate the player” in the short video. Other commands live on the GitHub page: copy from there, not from memory.

5

Bind a gift event

  1. Create a new event.
  2. Choose a specific gift.
  3. Point it at the webhook action you just saved.
  4. Save the event. Add on-screen alerts or TTS in the action if you stream from a PC and want the gift named on the overlay.

Route B

Chaos Mod V with TikFinity

This is the 350+ effect path from the Chaos Mod tutorial. Still not a TT Interactive product.

1

Meet the requirements

2

Find GTA5.exe

Steam: right-click Grand Theft Auto V → Properties → Installed Files → Browse. Otherwise search the PC for GTA5.exe. That folder is the root you copy mods into.

3

Install Script Hook V

Download Script Hook V, extract it, open bin, and copy those files into the GTA 5 root next to GTA5.exe.

4

Install the current Chaos Mod V release

Get the current files from Chaos Mod V on GTA5-Mods. Do not assume the version number in an older video is still the latest.

  1. Copy ChaosMod.asi into the GTA 5 root.
  2. Copy the whole ChaosMod folder into that same root.
  3. Make a desktop shortcut to the config tool inside that folder so you can open it without hunting.
5

Stop random effects and set durations

Open Chaos Mod V config. Save as you go.

  • Meta: uncheck it unless you want those extra modifiers.
  • New effect timer: set to 0 so only TikTok viewers trigger effects. Leave it on only if you want random chaos during gameplay.
  • Optionally enable Don’t draw timer bar.
  • Short timed effects and normal timed effects: the recording used 15s / 30s. Lower them if you get a lot of gifts, because stacking a gift combo restarts the timer instead of adding to it.
6

Bind effects and map them in TikFinity

On the Effects page, search for the effect (for example zombie, or jump). Open the three dots, set a keybind such as Ctrl+Alt+Z, then save in that dialog and save the config again.

  1. In TikFinity, add your username on Setup and log in to TikTok.
  2. Create an action. Enable Simulate keystrokes, enter the same combo, keep key hold around 100 ms, and tick Enable game compatibility mode.
  3. The first time, TikFinity asks you to install AutoIt. Download the zip, extract it, run the installer, accept defaults.
  4. Optional: show alert text (username + what spawned) and raise display duration for gifts.
  5. Create an event (follow, or a specific gift) that runs that action. Repeat for each effect. Randomising several actions is optional; most people skip it.
7

Launch config, then TikFinity, then GTA

Open Chaos Mod V config first. TikFinity can start whenever. Launch GTA last. Windowed borderless is the display mode that worked in the tutorial. Load story mode.

If the Chaos Mod text flashes on screen for a few seconds, the mod itself loaded. Test TikFinity with the play icon on an action: it waits 5 seconds during tests only. Live events fire immediately.

For LIVE Studio or OBS, add the TikFinity alert link as a link source or browser source so the username and text actually show.

TikFinity is the paid-adjacent bit of this page

The mods and the GitHub plugin are community software. TikFinity is the event app I send people to. Affiliate: geni.us/tikfinity. I earn a commission if you subscribe.

Setup questions

Is this the TT Interactive GTA product?
No. TT Interactive’s GTA product is in production and is not for sale here. These pages only document public third-party setups. There is no Live Chaos download on this site.
Which setup should I use?
Use the GitHub webhook plugin if you want a short list of commands such as kill. Use Chaos Mod V if you want 350+ effects driven by keybinds. Both need TikFinity on Windows.
Do I need to finish GTA story tutorial?
Yes for the Chaos Mod V route. Load story mode after the in-game tutorial is done. The webhook plugin also starts in story or offline mode.
What if the plugin screens no longer match the video?
Follow the current GitHub release, README commands, and Chaos Mod V config labels. The YouTube videos show the order of work; the live plugin UI wins when they disagree.
